This text aims to present the Journal "Letters at Uergs: literacy, reading and training of readers.", themes and positions of graduates of Undergraduate Courses - Letters: Portuguese Language and Portuguese Language Literature (Licentiate) and Postgraduate Studies - Theory and practice in Reader Training; as well as reporting the process of its editing up to the moment of this presentation, revealing aspects of Reading and education and Reading and multiculturalism. The construction methodology followed the procedures of Revista Eletrônica da Uergs, Open Journal System, with a schedule starting in July and ending in December 2021. Its results intend to demonstrate that the training provided by Uergs Courses unites responsibility with the development of knowledge transforming the passion of reading and promoting actions to train readers, emphasizing the quality of research carried out and the importance of expanding its reach (national and international) via Revista Eletrônica.
